Tom Murphy is a senior resident fellow, ULI/Klingbeil Family Chair for urban development. Murphy, former mayor of Pittsburgh, joins other ULI senior resident fellows who specialize in public policy, retail/urban entertainment, transportation/infrastructure, housing, real estate finance and environmental issues. His extensive experience in urban revitalization-what drives investment, what ensures long-lasting commitment-is a key addition to the senior resident fellows' areas of expertise.

Reynolds Allen

Managing Director of Retail Strategy and Operations, EDENS

As Managing Director of Retail Strategy and Operations, Reynolds is responsible for EDENS’ evolving retail and retailer sales strategy as well as the administration of the leasing, legal and property operations teams

Since 2006, Reynolds has been an integral part of EDENS’ development and retail strategy work. In 2014, he expanded his role to Vice President – Development where he led the redevelopment of Union Market in Washington, DC. The Union Market District was designed to attract the District’s community of culinary, entrepreneurial and creative innovators. Reynolds has also played a large role overseeing development projects for EDENS in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions including projects such as Barclay Square, Davidson Commons, Charter Colony, Riverton Commons, Hunters Woods, and Argent Lake Village.

Leigh Ferguson

Director of Economic Development, Downtown Development District of New Orleans

Leigh Ferguson is a developer with over 35 years experience in the real estate profession. He is an expert on downtown revitalization, affordable housing, mixed-use development and partnerships with public and non-profit entities. As the Director of Economic Development for the City of New Orleans, he is responsible for facilitating Downtown real estate development and investment, assisting the Downtown community with issues affecting the business environment, advancing Downtown planning, and attracting new business and development projects that will result in the expansion of employment, tax base and wealth creation in Downtown New Orleans. Prior to his time in New Orleans, he was a senior developer at Bayer Properties where he was involved with a variety commercial, mixed use and residential products in a variety of locations around the US. His primary duties included operating the residential and mixed-use real estate development and management division that focused on urban mixed-use community development projects in Birmingham’s revitalizing Center City.

Adam Weers

Principal, Trammell Crow Company

Adam Weers is a Principal at Trammell Crow Company with fifteen years of commercial real estate development and finance experience. Adam currently oversees the McMillan Healthcare Campus, a 1,000,000 SF component of the multi-phased, mixed-use redevelopment of the former McMillan sand filtration site in Washington, DC (Ward 5), and the Northeast Heights development, a 1,500,000 SF multi-phase, mixed-use residential, retail and office development in Washington, DC (Ward 7).

Bob Youngentob

CEO and Co-Founder, EYA LLC

Bob Youngentob is CEO of EYA, LLC and one of the founding partners. His responsibilities include product and site visioning, investor relations, investment committee leadership, and strategy, particularly in acquisition and development. Bob has over 30 years of real estate experience.

Bob currently serves on the Board of Advisors for The Universities at Shady Grove and the Terwillinger Center of the Urban Land Institute. He is a former chair of the Washington D.C. District Council of the Urban Land Institute and currently is chair of its Governance Committee. Bob has served on multiple private school boards including The Maret School and Green Acres. He has been a guest lecturer on real estate at the Harvard Business School, Georgetown University, University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University, and has spoken at numerous conferences sponsored by the Urban Land Institute and Builder Magazine. In 2016, Bob was inducted into the W.H. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence. In 1996, he was recognized as an Entrepreneur of The Year by Ernst and Young. Bob grew up in the Washington D.C. area, graduated from Lehigh University, and earned a MBA from the Harvard Business School.
