Charles Tu
Daniel F. Mulvihill Professor of Commercial Real Estate

An exceptionally talented and committed teacher, Dr. Tu has also produced academic research in a wide range of topics, including housing valuation, smart growth and the new urbanism, sustainable and green buildings, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), real estate investment trusts (REITs), multifamily housing, retail shopping centers, and real estate education. He previously taught real estate and finance courses at George Washington University and Cal State Fullerton. Dr. Tu has also published with ULI.
I took Introduction to Real Estate Development to prepare for a career transition from planning to development. ULI Learning helped me get where I am today. The course provided a solid foundation in development and I find myself referencing lessons learned from the course on a regular basis.
