Eva Steiner

Associate Professor of Real Estate, Penn State Smeal College of Business

Eva Steiner is an Associate Professor of Real Estate at the Penn State Smeal College of Business where she holds the King Family Early Career Professorship. Prior to joining Penn State, she was an Assistant Professor of Real Estate at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and at the University of Cambridge, U.K. Professor Steiner’s research interests include real estate finance and economics. She regularly contributes to academic and industry seminars and conferences on REITs and real estate investment. She is a member of the Board of Directors at the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association, the Real Estate Research Institute Board of Directors, and the Nareit Real Estate Investment Advisory Council. Professor Steiner has taught real estate finance and economics to undergraduate, graduate, and executive-level students in business, real estate, and MBA programs in the U.S. and in the U.K. Professor Steiner received her B.A. from the University of Heilbronn, Germany, and her M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cambridge, UK.
