Nicholas B. Rajkovich, PhD, AIA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. He is also a Senior Technical Consultant at Resource Refocus, LLC in Berkeley, California. His research focuses primarily on the intersection among energy efficiency, adaptation to climate change, and the built environment. Dr. Rajkovich is currently the buildings sector co-chair for the New York State Climate Impacts Assessment. He has also been asked to provide support to professional organizations like the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council. His work has been featured in national news outlets like ABC News, the Wall Street Journal, and The Atlantic. Nicholas is a licensed architect and has a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan, a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
