Suzanne Hollander

A recognized expert in real estate, Suzanne Hollander served as City of Miami's Director of Real Estate Asset Management managing an estimated $17.5 Billion real estate portfolio comprised of over 513 properties, 139 Million SF of islands, retail malls, hotels, office buildings, multifamily, theaters, stadiums, parking garages, historic properties, 3 marinas of over 1,300 boat slips, moorings, dry racks, upland and submerged lands. Ms. Hollander advises private investors and government entities throughout the U.S. and Latin America on commercial leasing, urban and regional development/finance, strategies to meet demand for housing and natural resources, entitlements for large scale development, and, as a result of her work, the U.S. State Department appointed her to its Fulbright Specialist Roster as an Expert in Real Estate.
Ms. Hollander is a frequent speaker in English, Spanish and Portuguese on commercial leasing, real estate, property rights and development in the U.S. and Latin America, Within the last 6 months, she delivered the Key Note Speech, “The Skill Set and Mind Set to Run a True Alternative Real Estate Investment Portfolio” to the National Retcon Conference in Miami, and was a panelist on the international Markets Group Alternative Investment Conference speaking on “Real Estate Outlook Post Covid – Cap Rates and Global Allocation of Capital” Ms. Hollander is also a Real Estate Law Professor at Florida International University for over 12 years and Program Director of the Office to Advance Women Equity Diversity. Recognized by South Florida Business and Wealth as a Prestigious Woman in 2021, by Globestreet as a Woman of Influence in Commercial Real Estate in 2019, and by Commercial Real Estate Women Network as Global Impact Award Winner in 2018; Ms, Hollander also serves on the Boards of Housing on Merit, RiskFootprint, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), 100 Women in Finance and C.R.E.A.T.E. Wealth Network and the GRI Club, the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce Alternative Investments Committee and is appointed to Abodgados de Bienes Raices de Latam, a think group on adapting commercial real estate shopping centers in Latin America to meet COVID 190 challenges Ms. Hollander graduated from Dartmouth College, cum laude, and the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was awarded a full three-year scholarship for academic and professional excellence.
